A well-established landscaping company in Florida is seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage lawn maintenance operations. This role is responsible for supervising multiple crews, coordinating with HOA representatives, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring high-quality landscaping services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care, irrigation systems, and team leadership.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 / year DOE

Lawn Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise 10 maintenance crews across multiple properties
• Direct foremen and crew members in daily operations
• Oversee irrigation service technicians on lawn care projects
• Maintain and manage production schedules using Outlook
• Receive and respond to work requests from HOA representatives
• Prepare proposals for maintenance tasks for commercial customers
• Submit soil and tissue samples for analysis
• Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork
• Attend weekly staff meetings and monthly HOA meetings
• Order lawn care products as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment repair issues
• Oversee properties across multiple counties

Lawn Maintenance Manager Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in lawn care industry BMP, including fertilization and pest management
• Knowledge of Florida plants, diseases, and certification for pesticide and fertilizer application
• Certified Pest Operator (CPO) with 4 years of experience in a lawn maintenance or landscaping company
• Ability to identify Florida plant and turf diseases
• Knowledge of irrigation timer programming
• Experience supervising team members
• Knowledge of lawn equipment operation and repairs
• Bilingual proficiency
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Proficiency in Outlook and Excel
