A thriving legal firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join their Austin office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload across construction law, insurance defense, real estate litigation, and general business litigation. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to engage in all aspects of litigation, including legal research, discovery, pleadings, motions, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation. They are looking for a hardworking and personable team player who is eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 5-10 cases, working on multiple legal matters simultaneously
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
• Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trial preparation
• Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys, checking in regularly on case strategy and workflow
• Provide high-quality legal analysis and writing, ensuring clarity and precision
• Engage in client communication and case strategy discussions
• Work in a team-oriented environment with strong mentorship and professional development opportunities

Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar membership
• 3-6 years of litigation experience
• Preferred experience in construction law, insurance defense, real estate litigation, or general business litigation
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with depositions and discovery processes
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional growth
• Ability to work onsite in the Austin office to maximize mentorship and collaboration
