A thriving legal firm is seeking a driven and career-oriented Labor & Employment Attorney to join their growing legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with high-profile clients, providing expert legal counsel on a broad range of employment and labor law matters. Salary Range: $130,000 – $165,000 / year DOE

Labor & Employment Attorney Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of labor and employment matters, including litigation, compliance, and counseling
• Conduct extensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
• Manage discovery, prepare legal documents, and assist in trial preparation
• Advise clients on employment policies, termination procedures, workplace investigations, and regulatory compliance
• Work on complex employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour cases
• Represent employers in federal and state courts, arbitration, and before administrative agencies
• Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions, contributing to case development
• Collaborate with shareholders and senior attorneys to provide top-tier legal services

Labor & Employment Attorney Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of dedicated experience in labor and/or employment law
• Strong legal research and writing skills; ability to analyze complex legal issues
• Litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• A background in business law, contract law, or commercial litigation is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying levels of complexity
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Must be mature, polished, professional, and confident in client interactions
• Admission to the Washington State Bar
