Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000 / year DOE

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Handle a range of construction litigation cases, including contract disputes, insurance defense, and risk management
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and depositions while ensuring a smooth resolution of cases
  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, ensuring precision and compliance with regulations and client needs
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to build effective case strategies and approaches
  • Maintain a 1950-hour annual billable requirement with flexibility to manage work hours effectively
  • Stay informed on legal developments and emerging trends in construction law to provide expert legal counsel

Associate Attorney Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on construction or insurance defense law
  • Must hold an active California Bar license
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while working independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working with insurance clients is preferred
  • Dual licensure in California and Arizona is highly desirable
