Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000 / year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle a range of construction litigation cases, including contract disputes, insurance defense, and risk management
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and depositions while ensuring a smooth resolution of cases
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, ensuring precision and compliance with regulations and client needs
- Collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to build effective case strategies and approaches
- Maintain a 1950-hour annual billable requirement with flexibility to manage work hours effectively
- Stay informed on legal developments and emerging trends in construction law to provide expert legal counsel
Associate Attorney Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on construction or insurance defense law
- Must hold an active California Bar license
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases while working independently and collaboratively
- Experience working with insurance clients is preferred
- Dual licensure in California and Arizona is highly desirable
