An eager legal firm in Stuart, FL is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to join their growing legal team. This role primarily focuses on family law cases but offers the opportunity to expand into civil litigation if desired. The attorney will handle client consultations, develop case strategies, and oversee legal proceedings from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client consultations and sign up new clients
• Manage cases from inception to resolution
• Develop case strategy and oversee legal proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Conduct discovery and legal research
• Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively
• Work closely with paralegal support to delegate tasks
• Review and ensure accuracy of paralegal work
• Maintain consistent communication with clients

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Family Law Attorney
• Open to candidates with civil litigation experience who are interested in family law
• Ability to manage cases independently and take initiative
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Willingness to learn and use Clio software (training provided)
