A leading law firm is hiring a Habitability Litigation Attorney for their Los Angeles office. This role focuses on representing landlords in habitability and landlord-tenant disputes, including mold, pests, and maintenance-related claims. The attorney will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload while working closely with experienced partners.
They are seeking a proactive, organized, and skilled litigator who enjoys working in a tight-knit, professional, and supportive firm culture.
Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 / year DOE
Habitability Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle 30-40 active habitability cases from start to finish
- Take and defend expert depositions
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and negotiations
- Collaborate with partners and staff to develop litigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with client litigation guidelines
Habitability Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- 4-6 years of habitability and landlord-tenant litigation experience
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Strong deposition and courtroom experience
- California Bar License required
- Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills
