A trusted law practice in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Business Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join their team. This role involves handling complex business and real estate litigation cases from start to finish, representing a diverse client base of companies and individual investors. Salary Range: $180,000 – $250,000 / year DOE

Business Real Estate Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Handle business and real estate litigation cases independently
• Represent companies and individual investors in corporate contract and shareholder disputes
• Conduct law and motion work in court
• Work directly with clients on discovery and case strategy
• Take and defend depositions, managing multiple depositions as needed
• Oversee all aspects of discovery, including document review and production
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting motions and trial documents
• Attend hearings and provide effective courtroom representation
• Draft complaints and other legal documents
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on case strategy and execution

Business Real Estate Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• At least 5-10 years of experience in business litigation and real estate litigation
• Strong background in corporate contracts and shareholder disputes
• Experience handling complex and high-level cases
• Ability to manage cases from start to finish with minimal oversight
• Court appearance experience is required
• State court experience primarily, with some federal court exposure
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and WordPerfect
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively
