A skilled and motivated Porsche Auto Mechanic is needed to join a dedicated team in North Hollywood, California. The role involves performing high-quality mechanical repairs and maintenance on modern Porsche vehicles, excluding electric and hybrid models, as well as specific older models. Key responsibilities include completing work orders, prepping cars for storage, assisting with pulling motors and powertrains for rebuilds, and maintaining a clean and organized shop. The mechanic will collaborate with the team and utilize specialized diagnostic tools. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic with a passion for Porsche vehicles. The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting issues independently, work cleanly, and have a desire to continuously learn and grow within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 / year DOE

Porsche Auto Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on modern Porsche vehicles, excluding electric and hybrid models, and specific older models
• Complete work orders daily, ensuring deadlines are met and cars are prepared for storage or repair
• Pull motors and powertrains for rebuilds, following specified guidelines and ensuring quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, cleaning up from previous day’s work and prepping the shop for daily operations
• Collaborate with the team during morning meetings to align on tasks and ensure smooth operations for the day
• Purchase inventory as authorized by the manager and assist with maintaining adequate stock levels
• Utilize specialized systems for diagnostics and repairs

Porsche Auto Mechanic Requirements:

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues independently and with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn more in a team-oriented environment
• Own basic metric hand tools (additional tools provided by the shop)
• Must be a motivated self-starter with a passion for Porsche vehicles and automotive repair
• Goldtech, ASC certifications, or relevant experience preferred
• Must work cleanly, with pride in your work, and adhere to shop cleanliness standards
