Tax Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely held businesses
• Review complex individual and business returns to ensure accuracy and alignment with client goals
• Serve as a key advisor, providing strategic guidance on tax-saving opportunities and long-term planning
• Manage and mentor junior staff, providing technical review and ongoing professional development
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and tailored advisory support
• Monitor tax law changes to ensure proactive planning and compliance for all client entities

Tax Manager Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
• CPA or Enrolled Agent designation required
• Strong communication and client service skills in a tax advisory setting
• Experience with both corporate and individual returns, especially small business clients
• Proficient in handling IRS notices and explaining tax matters to clients
• Team player with entrepreneurial mindset and strong common sense
• Comfortable in a flexible, non-micromanaged, fast-paced environment
