Job Description
A leading financial services firm specializing in comprehensive client portfolio management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Service Associate to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to support client service functions, including money movement, meeting preparation, and account maintenance. The Client Service Representative will report to the Client Service team and work closely with the Financial Planning and Investment teams. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and can balance operational support with customer-facing tasks.
Client Service Representative Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a client service role, with 5+ years being ideal
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7, 63/65, or 66 licenses required
- Expert-level communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing, energetic personality
- High proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Extreme passion for client care and service
- Professional, polished demeanor, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and be adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in financial services or wealth management is a plus
- CPA or CFA designation is a plus
- Insurance license is a plus
Client Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Assist the Client Service, Financial Planning, and Investment teams with ongoing and as-needed tasks
- Support wealth advisors in executing client needs such as money movement, meeting preparation, account maintenance, and client service
- Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, including pulling reports, delivering documents, and sending portfolio updates
- Onboard new clients and assist with related tasks such as sending out requests and preparing necessary documents
- Research investments and assist in executing transactions and financial planning processes
- Provide operational and general support to financial planning, client service, and investment teams
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and document handling
- Maintain a high level of client care by effectively communicating and meeting client needs over the phone and in-person
