An esteemed law firm is seeking an Employment Attorney in California with a strong background in school district defense. In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of 15-25 files, conduct hearings and depositions, and provide strategic defense for public education institutions. Salary Range: $230,000 – $275,000 / year DOE

Employment Attorney Responsibilities:

• Defend school districts in employment matters, focusing on trial preparation and litigation
• Independently manage cases, including depositions, hearings, and client meetings
• Review and organize case files, ensuring thorough compliance with legal standards
• Provide counsel to clients on school district-specific employment law issues
• Collaborate with legal assistants to ensure accurate documentation and case management

 Employment Attorney Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of employment law experience, with a significant focus on school district defense
• Must be located in CA
• Strong trial experience defending school districts in employment matters
• Must be a member of the California Bar
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be ok with being 90% remote
