Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 / year DOE

Plant Accountant Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Inventory costing and ERP experience is required
• CPA designation is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment highly preferred
• Knowledge of sales tax a plus
• Experience with AmTech software highly preferred
• Excellent analytical skills; highly detail oriented
• Ability to work 100% onsite at their office in Nashville, IL

 Plant Accountant Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
• Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor budget performance and provide updates as needed
• Manage cash flow projections, execute AP/AR processes
• Lead all aspects of inventory management and job costing
• Work closely with plant personnel to ensure accurate inventory management
