This role is responsible for leading the financial and operational strategy of the company, including financial forecasting, risk management, and investment strategy. Salary Range: $170, 000 - $250, 000 / year DOE
Vice President of Finance Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;MBA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the medical device or life sciences industry
- Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, business planning, and leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks Online
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and major projects
- Must be able to work onsite at company headquarters in Fremont, CA
Vice President of Finance Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the financial strategy, aligning with the company's long-term goals
- Lead financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies to support business growth
- Manage financial operations, including preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and oversee financial legal and regulatory requirements
- Drive the company s operational efficiencies, leading key projects and strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and board members
- Oversee outsourced functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and other financial operations
