Job Description

A well-established financial services firm is seeking a dedicated Trust Administrative Officer to join their close-knit team in Providence, RI. This role is key to managing trust accounts smoothly and providing exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. The right person for this job has solid experience in trust administration, a strong grasp of finance, and a genuine passion for helping clients reach their financial goals. Trust Administrative Officer Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of proven experience as a Trust Administrative Officer, with strong knowledge of personal banking and investments
  • Bachelor s degree in finance or a related field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work independently in a small company setting
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a strong client-first mentality
  • Prior experience with SEI's Trust3000 and/or SWP trust accounting systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance requirements in a personal trust company is a plus

Trust Administrative Officer Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with trust-related issues, providing solutions or directing them to the appropriate team members
  • Identify and address issues related to account management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Calculate and monitor account distributions, and maintain liquidity in trust accounts
  • Open and close accounts as needed, and prepare initial and annual account reviews
  • Maintain accurate tax cost information for private investments, and handle asset transfers for gifts, account additions, and distributions
  • Initiate wire and ACH transfers, reconcile bank and internal accounts, and assist with regulatory and internal audits
  • Communicate effectively with trustees, clients, and other involved parties
