Tax Senior
Job Description
A reputable CPA firm that specializes in public accounting is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join them in a hybrid position based out of Kirkland, WA! They are looking for an experienced CPA with at least 8 years of experience in public accounting to complete tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and estates. This is a great firm to work at as the work hours during the busy season are kept to a minimum, ensuring that you will have a sustainable workload and a healthy work-life balance, all year round! The position offers a one-day work-from-home hybrid schedule and comes with a competitive salary with bonus potential, health insurance, generous PTO, growth opportunities and so much more!
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 / year DOE
Tax Senior Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting
- CPA certification is required
- Knowledge of Quickbooks online
- Familiarity with Lacerte tax software is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
- Strong client relations skills
Tax Senior Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates/trusts
- Stay updated on tax laws and GAAP
- Collaborate with clients and support client meetings
- Train and mentor lower-level accountants
- Strategize and analyze complex tax matters
- Review and analyze financial statements
