Join a dynamic and growing construction company specializing in affordable and multifamily housing projects across the Phoenix metro area. They are seeking a motivated Superintendent with expertise in wood-frame construction and schedule management. You'll play a key role in overseeing projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. They are looking for someone with integrity, a strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude who thrives in a supportive and collaborative culture.
Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations for projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Collaborate with a team of superintendents, subcontractors, and the VP of Operations to ensure seamless project execution
- Build, maintain, and execute project schedules efficiently
- Foster strong, positive relationships with subcontractors, resolving any challenges quickly to keep projects moving forward
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards; partner with third-party safety consultants to ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot on-site challenges and develop creative solutions to meet project goals
- Utilize ProCore to track project progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations for quality and craftsmanship
Superintendent Requirements:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience, ideally in multifamily housing or affordable housing
- Proficiency in ProCore for project management
- Strong understanding of wood-frame construction methods
- OSHA 10 (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred
- Collaborative, even-keeled, and level-headed
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A problem-solver who maintains strong relationships with subcontractors and clients
