Staff Accountant Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in construction accounting; job costing, and percentage of completion accounting is a must
- BA Degree highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, proficient with pivot tables and V-lookups
- Tech-savvy; experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities and tasks
- Possesses an eagerness to learn and strengthen their current skills
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week at their office in Haslet, TX
Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Assist in financial operations for two entities, including job costing and heavy AR
- Examine quotes, handle invoicing, bank deposits, and insurance-related tasks
- Facilitate vehicle registration and pre-qualification information
- Support the Controller with Work in Progress (WIP) reports and percentage of completion accounting
- Perform extensive data entry and maintain accurate financial records primarily with Excel
