Staff Accountant
Job Description
An engineering company in the plastic manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team in Fraser, MI! They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of accounting experience to oversee the company’s financial activities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and looking for significant growth opportunities in the future. Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Managing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees using ADP
- Compiling 401k tax reporting and overseeing P&L statements
- Supervising the work of accounts receivable and payable without directly managing the personnel
- Conducting cost and inventory accounting
- Participating in financial planning and approving invoices for payment
- Maintaining the general ledger and assisting with financial forecasting
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience, with a focus on AR/AP
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ADP accounting software
- Must live within a 15-20 minute drive from the office in Fraser, MI
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
