Job Description
A dynamic fiber optic internet provider in Bryan, TX is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their accounting team! As Staff Accountant, you will have a crucial role in handling financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. This is a great entry-level position for those early in their careers who are looking for a stable, laid-back, modern and flexible work atmosphere!
Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct is preferred
- A degree in accounting or related field is a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits
- Excellent organizational and analytical skill
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and manage general ledger operations
- Conduct detailed account and bank reconciliations
- Assist with both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Support the preparation of financial statements for approximately 18-20 entities
- Ensure accuracy in financial documentation and reports
