Sr. Project Manager
Job Description
A leading company in the construction and development industry in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team! You will be primarily responsible for providing leadership and oversight to a major construction project by managing daily operations, ensuring the project is on track and within budget, and coordinating with the team and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth progression of the project.
The Senior Project Manager will play a vital role in making crucial decisions, analyzing bids for risks and cost impacts, reviewing proposals from vendors, and adjusting project schedules as needed. The role also involves quality control and managing a team of five direct reports. Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day communication with the team, reporting project status
- Assist with oversight of Pay applications from contractors and Direct Material Purchase (DMP)
- Create and review meeting minutes
- Ensure project budget and schedules compliance
- Analyze bids for risk and compliance with the budget and cost impacts
- Review proposals from vendors for purchase and installation of FF&E and OS&E items
- Review RFI's and submittals
- Coordinate with design builder and adjust development and project schedules as needed
- Quality Control / inspection
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in construction management, preferably in multifamily, hospital, apartments, retail, and hospitality projects
- A degree in Construction Management or similar field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Bluebeam and Procore is preferred
- Ability to work fully onsite
