Job Description


An Employee-owned innovative technology company with a long history of specializing in engineering consulting services and simulation product development is searching for a Senior Technology Contracts Manager/Business Manager to be in charge of government contract proposal development and administration! This role is critical for ensuring contracts are reviewed, negotiated, and managed effectively. They are looking for someone with at least 10 years of contract experience and in-depth knowledge of US government and commercial contracts, subcontract agreements, GSA schedules and other related aspects of contract administration. The position is fully onsite, based out of Hawthorne, CA and it comes with a great benefits package that includes 100% medical coverage, a fitness and technology stipend, potential for hybrid arrangement and much more!

Pay Range: $100, 000 - $160, 000 DOE + Bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for the development and coordination of government contract proposals
  • Review and analyze all contractual documents for potential risks
  • Propose alternative language and communicate contract-related matters to management
  • Facilitate legal discussions on unresolved issues and prepare/manage contracts
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Oversee subcontractor and consultant agreement compliance
  • Manage contract information in Costpoint, SharePoint, and on government websites
  • Establish and maintain contractual processes and procedures
  • Research, evaluate, and implement contract vehicles, including managing GSA schedule contracts
  • Collaborate with various internal teams (e.G., Engineering Services, Finance, CEO) and external parties (e.G., DCAA, DCMA, vendors, suppliers)

Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree with at least 10+ years of prior contracts experience, including 5 years as a Contracts Manager
  • Master s degree is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of managing and administering various types of Government and Commercial agreements (e.G., FFP, CR, CPFF, T&M, IDIQs)
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and ITAR/EAR controls
  • Proficient in negotiating terms and managing large multi-million-dollar contracts
  • Ability to lead negotiations, defend claims, and respond to international partner inquiries
  • Skilled in proposal writing, contract concept understanding, and legal compliance
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills
