Job Description
A leading financial advisory firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their team! As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in business management by providing comprehensive accounting support to high-net-worth individuals, families and private foundations. You will need to have 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a background in business management as an added plus. In this role, you will enjoy a great work-life balance and gain valuable exposure to the finance, investment and insurance world. Pay Range: $75,000 - $110,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Support 2-3 individuals by reviewing their work and compiling financial statements
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
- Manage personal general ledgers for high-net-worth clients
- Oversee accounting for investment partnerships and trusts
- Review and clean up general ledgers to ensure accuracy
- Customize financial statements, providing necessary customization to exported data
- Review accounting work and ensure its accuracy
- Prepare taxes for clients, teaching and guiding as necessary
- Perform various accounting duties for clients without direct client interaction
- Check cost bases for investments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Background in business management is a plus
- CPA certification preferred
