Job Description
A global supplier of research products for biotech companies in the heart of Cambridge, MA is searching for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist! This role is essential to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of products that drive innovation in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. They are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, physical capability for the demands of the job, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency! Responsibilities:
- Creating FedEx labels and preparing boxes for shipping
- Packing boxes with precision, following training on product handling and labeling
- Restocking shipping shelves and managing inventory
- Handling temperature-sensitive items and biological materials
- Meeting daily shipping volumes of 20-50 boxes, including domestic and international shipments
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving
- High school diploma
- Physical ability to pack and lift heavy boxes
- Highly organized, accurate, and capable of working independently
- Experience with dry shipments is preferred
