Service Technician Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in TIG, GTAW welding
- Electrical clearance
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with programming or maintenance of automated solutions, including PLCs (Siemens S7), speed variation, and brushless technology
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new equipment and environments
- Ability to travel frequently (30-80%) within the Northeast region and occasionally to other locations in the US, Canada, and Mexico
Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on welding and automation equipment both on-site and remotely
- Prepare and oversee installations at client locations
- Train customers on equipment maintenance
- Provide technical support to the sales team and fellow technicians
- Identify and advise on spare parts and services, ensuring client needs are met
- Participate in the installation of sold equipment at customer sites
- Manage local integrations of automated welding equipment and partner-supplied equipment
