Senior Project Manager/Estimator
Job Description
A renowned construction company in Santa Fe Springs, CA is searching for a dynamic Senior Project Manager/Estimator to join their team! The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in industrial coatings, adept at managing multiple projects ranging from large-scale constructions to specialized coatings. The role involves taking a proactive approach in estimating, project management, and client relations, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Salary Range: $150, 000 - $250, 000 / year DOE
Senior Project Manager/Estimator Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Estimator in industrial coatings, with a track record of managing large-scale projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- OSHA 30 certification and a good driving record are mandatory
- Strong ability to read and understand specifications, plans, and drawings
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and make decisive decisions
- Experience with PlanSwift software or equivalent is preferred
- Quality Control certifications such as QC-1, NACE CIP Level I, SSPC, or equivalent is preferred
- PMI/PMP certification is a plus
- Experience in government or military contracting in fuels facilities coatings is preferred
Senior Project Manager/Estimator Responsibilities:
- Estimate approximately 3 projects per week and manage about 4 projects at a time, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards
- Conduct regular site visits, including international travel as needed, to oversee project execution and ensure safety and quality compliance
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure work is performed on time, within budget, and according to contract specifications
- Manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines diligently, addressing any changes in project conditions promptly
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
