Job Description
A premier Southern California family law firm with numerous offices is actively seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join them at their Corona, CA office! Ideal candidates will have over 20 years of experience in managing lengthy, complex trials and tackling comprehensive legal issues, ready to leverage their expertise to drive the firm's growth. Pay Range: $200,000 - $300,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and lead a portfolio of family law cases, focusing on lengthy and complex matters that demand strategic planning and detail-oriented attention
- Conduct and lead trials comprehensively, including strategizing case approaches, calling expert witnesses, and proficiently handling witness examinations
- Tackle complex family law cases with a strong depth of legal knowledge, ensuring all aspects of the case are managed with expert care and attention to detail
- Conduct client consultations, providing clear and actionable legal advice, and effectively onboard new clients to the firm
- Work collaboratively with paralegals and legal staff on case preparations, ensuring open communication and high-quality legal document drafting
Requirements:
- 20+ years of family law experience California family law experience is required
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university
- Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
- Certification as a Family Law Specialist is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Adobe Pro is a plus
- Extensive experience in conducting lengthy trials, calling and managing expert witnesses, handling complex legal issues, and examining and cross-examining witnesses
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex family law cases from start to finish with superior litigation skills
- Excellent legal drafting and courtroom presentation skills, with a proven track record in litigation
- Meeting or exceeding billable hour requirements, with a commitment to high-quality client service
