Job Description


A real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Funding Manager to be their fundraising partner.  The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in fundraising for real estate, preferably with experience in multi-family real estate or affordable housing. The role involves targeting opportunities for fundraising, using Microsoft Suite and Entrada, and requires a person who is respectful of people's time and can work collaboratively in a mellow office culture.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who understands business and has a talent for finding good opportunities for fundraising.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $200,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Raise money for real estate funds and investment funds from various sources
  • Identify and target opportunities for fundraising
  • Work with institutional, endowments, and brokerage funds
  • Raise hundreds of millions of dollars in fundraising nationwide
  • Use Microsoft Suite, Yardi, and Entrada property management and accounting system
  • Work collaboratively in a mellow, respectful, and productive culture
  • Be flexible with hours and work as needed

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in fundraising/funding for real estate
  • Worked at a firm for RE that is doing hundreds of millions in fundraising
  • Open to any RE experience
  • No degree required
  • Ability to learn quickly and ask thoughtful questions
  • Awareness and caring for the business
  • Preferred multi-family real estate experience or nonprofit/affordable housing background
