Senior Contracts Administrator

Job Description
A technology company focused on engineering solutions for complex moving machines is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator in Hawthorne, CA, to manage and administer their government and commercial agreements and contracts. This is a permanent, onsite position (with the possibility of a hybrid option) reporting to the Controller & Treasurer. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of prior contracts experience, strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, federal government contracts experience, and an understanding of Prime Contractor flow-down provisions.
Pay Range: $72,000 - $116,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing federal government contracts and commercial contracts with commercial customers
- Setting up contract kick-off meetings and closing out contracts after the audit
- Managing vendor and supplier agreements, including subcontractors and consultants
- Identifying areas of risk and negotiating contracts
- Managing proposal coordination, ensuring timely submission
Requirements:
- At least five years of prior contracts experience
- Federal government contracts experience and an understanding of GSA schedule contract
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, with an understanding of Prime Contractor flow-down provisions
- Experience with ITAR/EAR controls, including Technical Assistance Agreements
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with Del Tech Cost Point is preferred
- Ability to work well with engineers, finance, and CEO
- Experience managing and administering various types of contracts, including FFP, CR, CPFF, T&M, IDIQs, SOW, Subcontracts, NDAs, TAs, POs, DoD, and various commercial agreements is preferred.
