Senior Administrative Assistant
Job Description
A leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk youth is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support their Philanthropy department in San Diego! This role provides administrative and departmental support to the Director of Philanthropic Operations and the philanthropy team. The primary duties include gift administration processes, donor acknowledgment procedures, coordinating meetings, data entry, organizing mailing orders, assisting with philanthropic and community initiatives, and supporting other office-wide activities.

Pay Range: $22 - $29/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling, agendas, minutes, and communication for department meetings
- Support donor stewardship activities, including event support and tracking action items
- Handle the CPO s calendar and administrative needs
- Prepare written communications, reports, and spreadsheets
- Order and manage office supplies inventory
- Process invoices, check requests, and ensure timely submission of payroll documentation
- Manage donor acknowledgments through Salesforce
- Create PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, letters, and proposals
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong writing and customer service skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage calendars and meet deadlines
- Experience in or familiarity with nonprofit operations preferred
- Bachelor s degree preferred but not required
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
