Job Description


A cutting-edge, global leader in the fabless semiconductor industry is searching for a Semicon Regional Sales Manager (automotive division) to drive sales in the Upper Midwest region of the US! They are looking for a seasoned sales professional with 10-15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry to manage the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois territory in a fully remote, frequent travel-based role. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with experience working MCUs, Memory, and Sensor technologies who thrives working out in the field and building strong relationships with clients. The position is fully remote but requires candidates to live within the Upper Midwest region. The company offers a lucrative salary and robust commission structure, along with fantastic benefits, opportunities to expand territory, and the chance to work with large accounts and contribute to technological advancements that will help shape the future!

Pay Range: $150, 000 - $180, 000 DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the automotive sector
  • Drive customer evaluations, achieving design wins, and closing purchase agreements
  • Manage and expand customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work closely with sales reps and manage distribution channels effectively
  • Frequent travel within the territory and annual trips to headquarters in China for sales conferences
  • Collaborate with the global sales team to meet and exceed sales forecasts and contribute to the overall success of the company

Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of sales experience within the automotive sector, specifically in the semiconductor industry
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with extensive industry experience may possess a degree in any field
  • Proven track record in closing design wins and significant revenue growth
  • Experience managing sales teams and large territories
  • Strong technical understanding of MCUs, Memory, and Sensor technologies (preferred)
  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work remotely and travel frequently
  • Must live in Michigan, Wisconsin or Illinois region
