Job Description

A luxury transportation company in beautiful Carlsbad, CA is searching for a motivated and high-energy Sales Manager to expand its corporate client base in San Diego! This is a new role with the company where you will have the chance to help shape the position while working closely with the General Manager with the goal of securing new business with large organizations, leveraging your existing contacts and experience in B2B sales. They are looking for well-networked candidates that have an established portfolio of contacts in corporate sales within San Diego who are skilled in developing strategic business plans, building strong relationships, managing the sales cycle, and delivering engaging presentations that sell. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person that offers great pay, the flexibility of a hybrid setup that allows you to work mostly from home, lots of growth potential, and the freedom to shape your role with the support of a collaborative team of co-workers where everyone is positive and celebrates wins together!

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 / year DOE

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in San Diego, with a proven track record of success
  • Established portfolio with contacts in corporate sales within San Diego
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
  • Experience in the biotech sector is a plus
  • Background in luxury transportation or hotel industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with Publisher for sales presentations is preferred

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract and secure new corporate clients
  • Conduct cold calling and outreach activities to generate new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in San Diego s corporate sector
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless account management
  • Utilize Excel for managing sales data and reporting
  • Hit ambitious sales goals and bring in new business revenue
