As a Sales Executive, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals in the commercial solar industry. You will focus on selling large-scale solar solutions to enterprise clients, with the support of a collaborative team and cutting-edge resources. They are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in enterprise sales, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for navigating long sales cycles. Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and manage enterprise-level client relationships across the Southeast, with a focus on manufacturing, logistics, and distribution verticals
- Generate and qualify leads using CRM tools, SEO-driven campaigns, and new business technologies
- Conduct sales presentations, educate clients on solar solutions, and develop tailored proposals in collaboration with the engineering and construction teams
- Lead the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, with an average project size of 1.5 2 MW and sales cycles ranging from 12 24 months
- Collaborate with the company president and internal teams on initial sales meetings, transitioning to full-cycle management over time
- Navigate complex technical sales by understanding ROI, tax implications, and solar incentive structures to effectively communicate value to clients
- Travel within the Southeast territory for client meetings and site visits
Sales Executive Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree required
- 2+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in technology, renewable energy, or related industries
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to C-suite executives
- Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot and a willingness to leverage technology for lead generation and management
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of managing long sales cycles with minimal supervision
- Experience in commercial solar sales or a similar technical sales environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with solar energy systems, ROI analysis, and incentive programs is a plus
