Job Description

A globally recognized leader in manufacturing that specializes in units and parts for oil & gas, hydrogen, natural gas, petrochemicals and auto manufacturing is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their team in Santa Clarita, CA!  As an integral part of the sales team, you will be responsible for selling the entire line of our client’s product offerings to current and prospective customers. This includes field operations and maintenance, midstream operations, machine shop/engine shop/valve shop services.

This role will give you the chance to work in a niche market with a lucrative earnings potential, while fostering strong relationships with customers.  The company also offers an attractive benefits package with many great perks that include a generous car allowance, company credit card, laptop, cell phone reimbursement and more!

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE
 
Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals within a defined geographic region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Offer strategic and tactical solutions in a business-to-business (B2B) setting
  • Manage the full sales process, from prospecting to closing deals and pricing negotiations
  • Travel within your region to engage with customers (50% travel required)

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Petrochemical, or Auto Manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in using a CRM and Excel
  • B2B sales experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • College degree preferred, or a 2-year Associates degree with relevant experience
