Job Description
A healthcare real estate company in Jupiter, FL is seeking a dedicated Remote Commercial Property Accountant to join their talented team! As a Remote Commercial Property Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations and financial success of the company by performing account analysis, journal entries, and bank reconciliation in adherence to modified accrual accounting principles.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $80,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Perform account analysis, journal entries, and bank reconciliation following modified accrual accounting principles
- Collaborate closely with property managers to ensure accurate financial statements and variance reporting
- Handle CAM reconciliations and ensure property accounting fundamentals are meticulously maintained
- Contribute to cash management, cash disbursements, monthly reporting, budgets, and operating expenses
- Utilize your proficiency in Excel to support accurate financial document preparation
- Communicate professionally and effectively, both in writing and verbally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of experience in commercial property accounting within the real estate industry
- Expertise in CAM reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and journal entry procedures
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to work with complex formulas
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of general property accounting fundamentals
- Commercial medical office space experience, particularly with Yardi Voyager and Kardin
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrating a curiosity for process improvement
- Desire to comprehend the "why" behind procedures, not just the "how."
