Are you a dynamic, driven sales professional ready to lead and grow in the metals industry? A booming metals company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales efforts in San Jose and the surrounding areas, including Oakland, Fremont, and the Peninsula. This role is focused on generating new business, managing regional goals, and building strong relationships within the metals industry. Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 / year DOE - with Commission $130-150k OTE
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, focusing on new business acquisition
- Identify and pursue opportunities using LinkedIn, lead lists, dormant accounts, and marketing-provided leads
- Maintain a consistent sales pipeline, ensuring daily call plans and follow-ups
- Attend industry networking events to build relationships and generate leads
- Turn over new orders to the inside sales team for account management and fulfillment
- Collaborate with the Regional Territory Manager and other stakeholders to align on goals and strategies
- Provide accurate reporting of sales activities and goals
Regional Sales Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience, with 2-3+ years in sales; metals industry strongly preferred
- Background in metals or a related industry
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and ERP systems like BizTrack is a plus
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in a competitive market
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage daily sales activities
- Self-starter with an energetic, creative, and results-driven mindset
