Remote (Travel-based) Candidates must live in the metropolitan area of New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma or Louisiana

A global leader in the manufacturing of tarp systems and trailer accessories with multiple operating sites across the US is searching for a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth in the South Territory! This is a fully remote, travel-based position that focuses on both developing new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships in the New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana areas. They are looking for candidates with a strong background in technical sales who take a consultative approach to business development. The company offers great benefits, yearly growth commission, a company car, laptop, gas card, flexible time off and so much more!

Salary Range: $90, 000 - $125, 000 / year DOE + OTE

Regional Sales Manager Requirements:
  • 1-20 years of experience in sales, preferably in automotive, trucking, or manufacturing industries related to transportation or trailer products
  • Technical industry experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to learn product details across multiple sectors
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach to sales
  • Must be results-driven, aiming to significantly grow the region
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 80% within the territory
  • Proficient in CRM systems, preferably ZoHo
  • Candidates must live within South Territory major metropolitan areas (New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, or Louisiana)

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the designated territory
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Engage potential customers through sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring exceptional service and understanding their needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and marketing to develop campaigns that boost brand awareness and sales
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to seize growth opportunities
  • Provide detailed sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting performance and market insights
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to enhance network and brand presence
