Job Description

A well-established custom packaging solutions company in Ellington, CT is searching for an ambitious and motivated Regional Sales Executive to strengthen their sales force! They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales who is ready to dive in head first into custom products sales. The role involves a combination of new business development and account management with regular travel in the Southern CT/NY/Western Mass area. Pay Range: $50, 000 - $70, 000 DOE + Commission

  • Lead identification and pursuit of new business opportunities through cold calling, building lead lists, and scheduling appointments to present packaging solutions
  • Develop and expand a client portfolio by providing customized packaging solutions tailored to various industries such as food/beverage, cosmetics, and industrial products
  • Participate in comprehensive onsite training and join experienced team members for ride-alongs, with extensive travel involved to build client relationships
  • Aim to achieve a significant first-year billing target, establishing a strong foundation for future sales success

  • A minimum of 2 years'experience in business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals
  • Experience in selling products and understanding the specific needs of each client, demonstrating a problem-solving approach to sales
  • A professional demeanor combined with high energy and a proactive approach, aiming to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to frequently visit the office in Ellington, especially important during the first year
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred, along with an openness to learning and utilizing new sales technologies and tools
  • Experience in selling custom solutions and a background in the packaging or printing industries is a plus
