Job Description
A premiere clothing store in Franklin, Tennessee is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Associate. This position plays a vital role in managing all merchandise from its arrival at the store to its placement on the sales floor, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting sales associates. Key responsibilities include receiving and tagging merchandise, replenishing store supplies, and assisting with merchandising efforts. This role is ideal for someone with logistics or receiving experience in retail who thrives in a high-end, fast-paced environment. They are looking for a professional candidate with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively while staying self-motivated.
Receiving Associate Responsibilities:
- Receive, tag, and transport merchandise to the sales floor
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies
- Participate in re-merchandising efforts and organize store displays
- Replenish bags at registers, restock water and soft drinks, and perform general supply maintenance
- Support sales associates by delivering merchandise to designated areas
- Assist with store projects and merchandising initiatives
- Ensure the receiving area is clean and organized
- Climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs when needed
Receiving Associate Requirements:
- 1-3 years of receiving or logistics experience, preferably in retail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Comfortable with climbing ladders as needed
- High-school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- Polished and professional appearance
