Boutique Recruiting has teamed up with one of the top affordable housing companies in the US to find an ambitious Real Estate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team in San Juan Capistrano, CA! They are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in real estate law with extraordinary organizational skills to manage real estate transaction documents, coordinate closings, and provide administrative support to the legal. Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year DOE

Real Estate Paralegal Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate law
  • High school diploma - certification from an accredited paralegal program is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions and legal documentation
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter and diligent in responsibilities

Real Estate Paralegal Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and organize real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, entity agreements, and closing documents
  • Ensure compliance with internal legal standards and accurate execution of documents
  • Coordinate real estate closings, including scheduling, preparation of closing statements, and ensuring all closing conditions are met
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions
  • Gather and organize all necessary documents and information for closings
  • Communicate effectively with team members and outside counsel
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in resolving issues during the transaction process
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic files
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist attorneys with research, drafting correspondence, and other administrative tasks
  • Manage the registered agent relationship
