Proposal Coordinator
Job Description
An innovative architectural design firm is seeking a talented Proposal Specialist, Proposal Writer, or Proposal Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the architectural, construction, or engineering industries and must be proficient in InDesign. In this role, you will own the entire proposal process from start to finish, collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager to produce high-quality proposals. You'll coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and clients, maintain the project database, and ensure all deadlines are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You can look forward to a hybrid work style with one day at home and four days in the office, offering a perfect blend of flexibility and teamwork.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of proposal experience in the architectural, construction, or engineering industry
- Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Construction and Engineering Industry
- Experience Architectural Industry is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, engineers, and consultants to gather necessary proposal qualifications and fees
- Review past proposals and ensure new proposals align with established standards
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to prioritize tasks and meet all deadlines
- Communicate proposal deadlines and project details to the team
- Maintain a clean and updated database of ongoing projects, client information, and deadlines
- Schedule delivery due dates for drafts and final proposals, ensuring all materials are reviewed and approved by the proofreader and manager
- Oversee the final steps of printing, binding, packaging, and delivering proposals
