Job Description
A residential real estate company in Miami, FL is searching for an experienced Property Manager to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in residential property accounting to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations of the company. Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and addressing financial discrepancies in accounting records
- Precisely managing accounts payable and receivable
- Performing monthly financial draws for construction and renovation projects
- Collaborating with third-party management companies for financial oversight
- Ensuring timely payment of property taxes and mortgage obligations
- Conducting monthly closing activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
- Processing bank reconciliations and vendor payments
- Actively participating in establishing and refining accounting processes and procedures
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in residential property accounting
- Proficiency in Yardi and intermediate skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify when things look off
- Capacity to work in an environment under construction, aiding in the establishment of new processes
- Ability to work flexibly, contributing beyond typical accounting tasks when necessary
- Strong organizational skills and resilience in a dynamic, changing environment
