Project Manager
Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company specializing in innovative display and promotional solutions is seeking a Project Manager to join its team! This hybrid role, located in East Hartford, Connecticut, offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end projects from concept through production, working closely with sales, design, and production teams to bring custom solutions to life for retailers and consumer goods companies. This role is ideal for a project manager with a background in manufacturing or retail, strong vendor relations experience, and an eye for cost-effective project coordination. Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 / year DOE (hourly with overtime potential)
Project Manager Requirements:
- 2-5 years of project management experience
- High school diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom, and Teams
- Preferred experience with ERP software, especially Global Shop Solutions
- Strong vendor management skills and retail experience highly valued
- Friendly, reliable, and trainable with excellent follow-up skills
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to define project goals and outline strategies for execution
- Quote programs by leveraging in-house resources and engaging outside suppliers for cost-effective solutions
- Create and manage inventory parts and purchase items, developing accurate BOMs for production use
- Coordinate with the production manager to ensure seamless workflow and project alignment
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, providing updates to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery
