A leading company in the construction industry is searching for an experienced project manager to drive large-scale projects in Hawaii. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction across various sectors, including hospitality, office spaces, and retail renovations. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met across all phases of construction. The project manager will oversee projects ranging from $5 million to $10 million, collaborating closely with estimators to develop budgets and lead high-profile, long-term projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in metal framing and drywall, preferably with a background in high-rise or hotel projects, and thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Salary Range: $120,000-155,000 / year DOE

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple high-value commercial construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and timelines based on detailed estimates
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and project alignment
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards
  • Review and process project changes, preparing cost estimates and budget adjustments as necessary
  • Oversee project quality control, identify potential issues, and proactively resolve obstacles
  • Foster client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and communication throughout the project

Project Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, specifically in metal framing and drywall
  • Proven experience managing large commercial projects within the $5M-$10M range, with hotel or high-rise experience preferred
  • Strong familiarity with OnCenter Software (OnScreen Takeoff and QuickBid)
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate the unique work environment and culture of Hawaii, balancing high standards with flexibility
