Project Coordinator
Job Description
A premier building automation company in Hernando, MS is searching for a talented Project Coordinator to join their team! They are looking for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow into a project management role in the future. This is an exciting opportunity to not only build processes from the ground-up but be the go-to person for construction project logistics that involve HVAC and electrical systems. You'll handle scheduling, procurement, and inventory, while simultaneously making sure tech tools like Teams and SharePoint are used properly to keep projects on track. The role requires a blend of tech-savvy and construction know-how, with occasional site visits at mixed-in, offering you a versatile role where no two days are ever the same, at a company that values integrity and truly puts people first!
Pay Range: $50, 000 - $65, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Engineering and the engineering team
- Manage material inventory and assist with procurement
- Schedule resources effectively, coordinating office and field operations
- Contribute to the development and optimization of our systems and automations
- Utilize software tools like Teams and SharePoint to foster team collaboration
- Occasionally visit job sites, with access to a company vehicle for such needs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of construction experience, specifically in project coordination related to HVAC/Electrical
- Exceptional technical proficiency, with experience in material procurement and inventory management
- A proactive, flexible approach to work, capable of wearing multiple hats in a lean, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a culture of integrity and collaboration
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred
- Degree not required;experience is preferred over degree
