Production Manager
Job Description
A premier office furniture manufacturing company in Chesterfield, SC is searching for an experienced Production Manager to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in production management to manage a team of 15 floor workers, ensuring the efficient assembly and quality of office furniture. You will be primarily responsible for duties that include scheduling, budget estimation, maintenance of production equipment, and adherence to health and safety standards. Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / year DOE
Production Manager Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in production management
- Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- High school diploma required
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Word
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with MAS 100 inventory system is preferred
- Must demonstrate integrity with trustworthiness and dependability
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a cooperative and respectful team environment
Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations on the manufacturing floor
- Ensure quality control and completion of products before shipment
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Address and resolve any production issues
- Assess project and resource requirements
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
