Job Description
An award-winning personal injury law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a proactive Pre-suit Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join their fast-paced team! If you have strong organization skills, a positive attitude and at least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant in personal injury litigation, this is a great opportunity to join the largest and most reputable personal injury firm in the area, known for being a great place to work. Pay Range: $50,000 - $58,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Opening files in the case management system
- Drafting correspondence
- Requesting medical records and bills
- Obtaining insurance details
- Scheduling, scanning, and filing
- Assisting with miscellaneous administrative office tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of legal assistant experience in personal injury litigation
- Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
- Experience with File Vine contract management software is preferred
- Prior exposure to personal injury cases including auto accidents, med-mal, and aviation is preferred
