Job Description

An award-winning personal injury law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a motivated and proactive Bilingual Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their fast-paced team!  They are looking for an attorney with at least 3 years of experience and excellent communication skills, English/Spanish bilingual. The role involves managing all aspects of litigation, from case inception to resolution, including drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation for personal injury cases, from initiation to resolution via court judgment, settlement, or trial
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions (especially discovery and dispositive motions), and pretrial filings
  • Handle discovery processes, responding to and propounding requests with precision and strategic insight
  • Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring thorough case preparation and attention to detail
  • Represent clients in court conferences, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Prepare for trials, contributing to the firm's high settlement rate of cases
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters
  • Maintain regular client communication, upholding excellent client service standards
  • Keep abreast of legal developments and trends in personal injury and liability law

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of litigation experience in personal injury law within Florida
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Demonstrated ability to manage litigation cases independently
  • Strong litigation skills, including persuasive argumentation and effective negotiation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for complex legal information synthesis
  • Proficiency in legal research and applying legal principles to case strategy
  • Bilingual abilities, English & Spanish
  • Experience or potential in business development and case marketing
  • Organized and proactive, capable of managing a significant caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing to the firm’s growth
