Job Description
A leading plaintiff personal injury firm in Oakland, CA is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in a hybrid position! They are looking for someone with a strong background in plaintiff personal injury law with at least 5 years of experience, including trial experience. Pay Range: $150, 000 - $250, 000/year DOE
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all case stages from initial consultation to resolution, keeping clients informed throughout
- Create and execute legal strategies to secure the best outcomes in settlements or trials
- Handle all litigation activities including negotiations, pleadings, and court motions
- Represent clients in court, effectively presenting their cases and arguments
- Work closely with a dedicated paralegal and case manager to manage cases efficiently
- Prepare and review legal documents ensuring compliance with laws
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience
- Must be currently barred in the state of California
- Experience with three jury trials is highly preferred
- Proficient in using legal software such as Smart Advocate and Lexus Nexus
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
- Open to constructive feedback and continuous professional development
