Job Description
A distinguished personal injury law firm in New York City is looking for a motivated Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide critical support to the legal team, handling case files, conducting comprehensive research, and aiding in diverse legal tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in personal injury law or a related discipline and be familiar with medical documentation.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a caseload of approximately 65-70 personal injury cases
- Collaborate within teams to draft complaints, maintain case files, and ensure case progression
- Conduct thorough discovery processes, working extensively with medical documents
- Calendar important deadlines, set depositions, and mediations
- Prepare trial materials, including exhibit and witness lists
- Utilize document management systems and software, including Neos and Outlook
- Provide exceptional support to attorneys and clients, maintaining compassionate and professional communication
- Participate in regular training sessions and firm events to enhance skills and camaraderie
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law or related field with exposure to medical documents
- Experience with plaintiff personal injury cases is preferred
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in computer software and document management systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
