Pipelayer
Job Description
A leading construction company specializing in site work including demolition, sediment control, grading, paving, and utilities is seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join their team in Baltimore, MD! They are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of pipelaying experience, with 3 years preferred who have a strong understanding of the tools used for the process along with the ability to read blueprints and work plans. Salary Range: $41, 000 - $54, 000 / year DOE
Pipelayer Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in construction site work, specifically in pipelaying (3+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in pipelaying
- Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and work plans
- Demonstrated reliability and stability in previous roles
Pipelayer Responsibilities:
- Laying water, sewer, and storm drain pipes
- Following direction from the Foreman and Equipment Operators on the job site
- Performing daily safety and maintenance checks
- Practicing workplace safety
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
